🔴 Tom & the “Risk-Taking” Gene

🔴 Tom Keen and the “Risk-Taking” Gene

March 14, 2015

There is a genomic marker (SNP) sometimes called “the love gene” (GG variant for SNP rs53576) http://bit.ly/1wniMDR About 40% of Westerners have this variant. When combined with another gene (AA or AG for rs2254298) http://bit.ly/18nPCKM, what results, for males who grew up in non-nurturing early childhood environments, is a higher likelihood that a person will develop psychiatric disorders AND/OR that he will be a risk-taker. Both “genes” or SNPs are located on the Oxytocin molecule. The psychiatric disorders include depression, borderline personality, sociopathy and psychopathy.

🔴 James Spader as Outsider

🔴 James Spader as Outsider

–– Boston Legal to The Blacklist

Jan 7, 2015

In Boston Legal (ABC, 2004-2008), James Spader played Alan Shore, an often politically incorrect advocate in many cases involving “lost causes” (most of which, in the make-believe world of the Crane, Poole & Schmidt law firm, he actually won). His penchant for clarity and honesty was his weakness & his strength. In perhaps the most memorable episode, he even told “The Court Supreme” exactly what they needed to hear about the death penalty. Even his sexism was funny & endearing because it was – hey! – sincere. During the Bush years, Alan Shore’s truth-telling buoyed many a despondent liberal in the face of what Stephen Colbert dubbed “Truthiness”.

🔴 Fathomless Eyes: Neurobiology of the Gaze

“Love pierces the heart through the gaze of the eyes”

I can’t stop looking at James Spader’s face. I’ve noticed I am not alone in this… It’s as though there were 1000 masks, each one capturing *perfectly* an emotion you didn’t even know existed but that you instantly recognize, and he moves flawlessly from one to the next, sometimes donning several in a second. There must be a name for what he does – micro-acting? I think I saw “close camera acting” somewhere. Anyway, he has nailed it. I am riveted.

🔴 Forget Bloodlines

🔴 ‘Conspiracies’? Okay – But Forget Bloodlines

Dec 8, 2014

As far as I know there is no national board or government agency tasked with deciding what is or is not a “conspiracy theory,” and since this blog is about The Blacklist, not Frontline, ideas are considered “on the merits.” Stupid stuff is thrown out, the rest posted for comment. I note that I’ve been called a conspiracy theorist for 1) saying state capitalism – as in Russia & China – does not welcome the open Internet, and 2) that the TPP trade deal is corporate-friendly and could weaken state sovereignty (companies can sue countries). So, I have a soft spot for people accused of harboring non-MSM views.

However, the one “conspiracy theory” I oppose is the notion of “bloodlines.” It makes me want to tear my hair out. There is no such thing as a bloodline that gets passed along through generations of kingship or kinship. This is nothing but the genomic version of primogeniture.

2:8 Decembrist: State Capitalism & the Internet (11/25/2014)

I rewrote this idea & submitted it to The Blacklist Exposed:
http://www.goldenspiralmedia.com/feedback
They are soliciting ideas on where The Blacklist should go. You may have read an earlier version (detail is at the links). I saw the “spoiler” link – it just says they are looking for someone to play one of the alliance guys Fitch mentioned before he exploded. So, this is a bit of a promo, I guess.

FULCRUM: State Capitalism vs the Internet (2)

Link to Part 1: State Capitalism vs the Internet

The Fulcrum (possibly an acronym) could involve a Master Plan for world domination, already in play, including a list of people embedded at high levels in national governments (like Fitch). It could spoil the plan if revealed. (Maybe Hillary Clinton is behind it – lol!)⋙ The theory is based on the fact that the World Wide Web went live on December 25, 1990 [the day after Reddington disappeared].Earlier in 1990, the Internet was put into the public sphere by the Defense Department, which had developed it. There must have been grumbling about this.

FULCRUM: State Capitalism vs the Internet (1)

Something earth-shattering happened on 12/25/1990…

“Tim Berners-Lee [creator of the World Wide Web] accessed the first Web page, on the first Web server, using the first Web browser on Christmas Day 1990.” – SciAm http://bit.ly/1yDRsyh Christmas Day – the day after Red Reddington disappeared. Earlier in the year, DARPA (the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency) had ended its ARPAnet project, the Internet’s precursor. The technology was free. The Internet, “the killer app of all time,” was in the public sphere.
